This Milgauss is the anniversary model, it comes with a green tint to the glass which looks beautiful against the black dial and orange lightning strike second hand. The Milgauss was designed in response to calls from engineers and scientists who could not wear timepieces with mechanical movements in areas of work. This was due to high strengh magnetic fields. Magnetism is very poor for mechanical movements. The Milgauss is unnaffected in areas with a magnetic field strength up to 1000 gauss. The automatic movement is protected by an anti-ferrous shield and, utilises a Blue Parachrom hairspring. Absolutely all boxes, papers and accessories come complete with this wonderful Rolex.
